Cars and Coffee for a Cause

The Woodlands Car Club will meet in Market Street the first Sunday of each month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., to continue efforts to provide a fun and creative way to give back to our community.

The new 4 non-profit organizations that will benefit in 2012 from TWCC Cars & Coffee for a Cause are: Montgomery County Community Foundation, which awards grants and scholarships to deserving organizations & individuals. CASA - Child Advocates of Montgomery County, which recruits, trains & supports volunteers to advocate for the best interest of abused & neglected children under the court’s jurisdiction. Cypress Woodlands Junior Forum Project, an organization of women dedicated to providing volunteer services, leadership & philanthropy to enrich the northern corridor of Houston. Project Linus Montgomery County Chapter – an organization whose members knit, crochet & quilts blankets for children who are seriously ill or suffering other trauma in their lives.

All “show” vehicles will be asked to enter by the entrance where Avia Hotel & Starbucks is located. At that time, you will be asked to sign-in (if you’ve never attended), or checked-in, if you have, your donation will be collected (amount is at your discretion), and then you will be assisted to park. Once all of the parking spaces are filled up on that main street, all incoming vehicles will be asked to park in the parking spaces located next to Avia Hotel. That entire area will be closed for this event and there are a total of 44 parking spaces to accommodate us. No “show” vehicles will be allowed to park on the “other” side of the central grass area by Cru’ Wine Bar. *Please note  security will be enforcing this, and any vehicle that parks in that area will be towed.

Although this event is for TWCC members, area enthusiasts are invited on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Woodlands Car Club has been invited to partner with Market Street to assist with their Change for Charity Program. We appreciate your cooperation and support in making this event safe and successful.
