Spring Home & Garden Show at The Woodlands returns for 10th year
New Products, New Technology, and New Ideas
Saturday, March 31 & Sunday, April 1
HOUSTON, TX – February 14, 2012 – The Spring Home & Garden Show at The Woodlands returns for the 10th consecutive year, to The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, Saturday and Sunday, March 31 and April 1. The show continues its mission of bringing the newest products, technology and ideas for the home to residents of The Woodlands area. Over 200 professionals with the hottest products and services on the market will be available at this year’s show. Here are a just few of the experts and exhibits lined up – good reason to mark the calendar now for this entertaining and information-packed event.
Kitchen Remodel with Wood-Mode
The kitchen is usually the most popular room in the home. It is also the most expensive to remodel. Those considering a kitchen redesign or make-over do not want to miss John Johnston, president of Designer Kitchens, a Wood-Mode Fine Kitchen Cabinetry dealer and Board member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association. He will be providing expert tips to create a kitchen that reflects the owner’s personality, taste and budget. Check out Designer Kitchens’ exhibit featuring a stunning Wood-Mode Tuscany island with zebrawood countertops, a Brookhaven pantry system in antique white with espresso glaze finish, and a variety cabinetry options from Wood-Mode.   
The Man Cave
The Billiard Factory is about much more than pool tables. The company offers complete man caves, game rooms, theater seating, pub tables, bar stools, pin ball and arcade games. At the show, complete rooms will be set up so visitors can see, touch and sit in areas to know how their room will be at home.Joe Elwood, general manager of The Billiard Factory, will be joined in the Billiard Factory booth by special guest, Texans talented defensive end, Connor Barwin. 4D Home Theatres are here!
Home Media Pros presents the 4D Home Theatrical Performance. This dynamic exhibit will include a demonstration of not only 3D visuals but a full 4th dimension, which is submersive sound. Don’t miss this opportunity to visit the most advanced, yet affordable, in-home 4D experience. It is the closest thing to being there!
The Hottest Colors
Catherine Falgoust, CfYH, will be speaking on “The Hottest Colors in Home Interiors.” This certified color specialist’s passion is creating interior spaces that reflect her clients’ personalities and lifestyles. She believes color is the foundation for a great space. Her presentation will inform attendees how they can enhance their own space with the vibrancy of a new hue.  
The Lazy Gardner’s Garden
Brenda Beust Smith
, Houston Chronicle gardening columnist “The Lazy Gardener,” will talk about what is blooming now in her garden and prepare attendees for the spring planting season. According to Smith, if a plant dies in your yard, you have tried to grow the wrong thing, and choosing the right plants at the right time can save money, time and plants. Smith will have flyers to give out as a guide and her CD, The Lazy Gardner’s Guide, will be available for $20.00.
Top 10 Clutter Questions – Answered!
 Ellen DeLap, certified professional organizer, will be providing answers to the Top 10 Clutter Questions she gets. For those who are stuck or do not know where to start organizing their home, DeLap will have the step-by-step procedures to help you get started. DeLap works one-on-one with clients in their home and office environments. She specializes in working with ADD and ADHD families, adults and students. Ellen has been featured on Stretch Your Dollar on ABC13 Houston and in the Houston Chronicle. She has been a guest speaker on radio KLOVE, an assistant on Hoarders television show and is a national expert on The Clutter Diet, an online organizing website. 

New and Improved Plants
Buddy Lee, of the Encore Group, is the inventor of Encore Azalea, the only azalea to bloom in spring, summer and fall. He has more than 30 years experience in nursery management, breeding and new plant development. Lee will share news on the latest releases from the Southern Living Plant Collection and will discuss care and maintenance. Bring your questions to the presentation and Lee will provide the answers!

The 10th Annual Spring Home & Garden Show in The Woodlands will be held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, 1601 Lake Robbins Drive, 77380. Doors open Saturday, March 31, 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 1, 10:00a.m – 6:00 p.m.
