The Wine & Cheese Festival is a great way for wine and cheese lovers to discover new products and become acquainted with unique pairings. The event will feature numerous vendors sampling various local, domestic and imported wines from Antinori, Domaine Chandon, Michael David, Retreat Hill, Bernhardt wineries and more. A large selection of imported and domestic cheeses exclusively selected by Hubbell & Hudson’s cheesemongers will be paired with wines.
Attendees of the Wine & Cheese Festival will also be able to sample Hubbell & Hudson’s Holiday Catering menu, featuring a Hubbell & Hudson exclusive Ho-Ka Turkey – from Howard Kauffman Turkey Farms - Waterman, Illinois, as well as the chef-prepared, house-made Thanksgiving side dishes.
Hubbell & Hudson will charge $5 fee for the Wine & Cheese tasting. The proceeds will benefit Montgomery County Food Bank, to create funds for this hunger relief charity to be used during the upcoming holidays. The Montgomery County Food Bank urges everyone to get involved in fighting hunger through food drives, donations, and volunteering. About Montgomery County Food Bank
The mission of the Montgomery County Food Bank is “Feed the Hungry of Montgomery County”. As the County’s largest hunger relief charity, the MCFB addresses hunger in all of its forms. Our 50 member agencies fulfill over 30,000 food requests each month, with 40% children and 10% seniors. The MCFB survives on monetary and food donations, grants, and volunteers. It takes approximately 1000 volunteer hours a month to sort, box, and weigh the food for delivery. In 2010 the MCFB distributed nearly 6 million pounds of food and grocery product.
