Looking for a free activity the entire family can enjoy? Bring a blanket and tub of popcorn and head over to Waterway Square in The Woodlands as “Movie Night,” the entertainment series that showcases family-friendly movies, returns every Saturday, April 9 thru April 30, 2011 from 8 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Produced by The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau, featured movies scheduled this spring include “Up” (April 9), “Finding Nemo” (April 16), “Wall-E” (April 23) and “Cars” (April 30).
“Movie Night” attendees also will find limited, free street parking along Lake Robbins Drive, Waterway Avenue, Waterway Square Place and Timberloch Place. Paid covered parking also is available at the 24 Waterway Parking Garage (located at corner of Fountain Plaza & Lake Robbins Drive), the Waterway Square Parking Garage (between Fountain Plaza and Woodloch Court) and the surface parking lot along the corner of Waterway Avenue and Timberloch Place.
Located along Waterway Avenue, Waterway Square is a one-acre public plaza with unique water features and green spaces that serve as the “centerpiece” of The Woodlands Town Center. Picnics, chairs, blankets and coolers are welcome.
