The Indian Springs Village Association (ISVA) invites everyone to be our guests on Saturday, October 17, 2009. We will celebrate the 5th annual TASTE OF THE VILLAGE event from Noon until 4:00 PM at the Indian Springs Village Shopping Center, located at the intersection of Kuykendahl and The Woodlands Parkway.
Last year over 5,000 visitors from throughout The Woodlands attended the event. This year we will feature delicious free samples from about a dozen food vendors, entertainers, music, raffle prizes, public safety/community services representatives and lots of fun & free hotdogs for the kids.
Entertainment includes live music; HE Buddy; a remote control vehicle; Puffy Pine Cone; Michael Crayton of Magical Balloons; face painting by Campus Watch & ISVA; Wells Fargo Stagecoach; Spiderman, Dora the Explorer, Elmo, Sponge Bob and other walking entertainers. Public education for all ages will also be available through exploring a fire truck, an ambulance and a sheriff’s vehicle plus information from Indian Springs Village Association, the Community Associations of The woodlands and The Woodlands Township Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The TASTE OF THE VILAGE is co-sponsored by the Indian Springs Village Association, HEB, and Regency Development in cooperation with business establishments located in the Indian Springs Village and Woodlands Crossing Shopping Center. The event showcases merchandise and services for the businesses that are participating. A raffle is held and all proceeds from the event help support the ISVA College Scholarship Fund for Indian Springs’ residents.
Mark the date on your calendars and plan to join your neighbors from throughout The Woodlands for an afternoon of food, fun, and entertainment for the whole family. ADMISSION IS FREE.
